My Bio

I am a highly creative, motivated, and hard-working graphic designer, front-end developer and art director with 25+ years of experience in both print and web — taking projects from concept to completion, both on my own and as part of a collaborative team. I am an expert multitasker, able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, consistently meeting tight deadlines while working independently or as part of a larger team.

Currently an Associate Creative Director for Publishers Clearing House, I am responsible for managing multiple creative projects across various digital platforms, including, but not limited to game/app interfaces, micro-sites, logos for new sweepstakes, branding & UI/UX design for various PCH properties, as well as designing/coding emails and building custom landing pages for PCH’s Shopify site.

Prior to PCH, I was the Design Director for dLife, a company offering information, tools & community to people living with diabetes, where I was responsible for all of dLife’s creative needs. Designing for both online and print, my work ranged from a wide variety of printed marketing materials, co-sponsored collateral, and magazine ads to downloadable eCookbooks, web-pages, micro-sites, eNewsletters, and banner ads for dLife and many of their well-known clients. Before joining dLife, I was the Art Director / Sr. Designer for InterTech Media, LLC, where I was responsible for the production (design, build & maintenance) of InterTech’s 1000+ radio station web sites. During my 10 years with ITM, I worked intently to make every client site visually appealing and technically sophisticated, while managing a team of designers & builders, and working closely with the dev team developing new technologies and offerings for InterTech’s always-growing client base. Before Intertech, I worked for Ziff-Davis Publishing, where I created magazine ads, direct mail packages, and insert cards for ZD’s high-profile computer and gaming magazines.

In addition to my full-time roles, I am also the sole proprietor of:

• SG-Graphix (sg-graphix.com) — a graphic design company specializing in logo design & branding, promotional print pieces & ads, website design, production & maintenance, email design/coding, as well as any and all digital assets needed for social and online promotion.
• Cloud 9 Dezign (c9dezign.com) — a stationary company designing and creating hand-crafted invitations suites, programs, favors and various other pieces for weddings, showers, birthdays and/or any special event, as well as custom holiday cards.
